A Day Out at DownTown East

My Daughter birthday is on 12 Oct.. Since we are not having a birthday party for her.. we decide to bring her to Downtown East for some fun...

First we head to Escape Theme Park.. We are delighted to find that there is a promotion for Kids.. 1 Child gets FREE for 2 full paying adults.. and we got FREE 2 adults and 1 child for the next trip... Escape Theme Park is a great disappointment.. There are not much rides.. and some of the rides are closed for maintenance.. and some of the rides are not cater for young children.. Anyway.. my child got a free entrance fee.. ..

Next we head for Explorer Kid.... One time membership is S$8.50... until age 12.. Per entrance is S11 for the first 1 hour.. and subsequent is S$4 an hour.. And adult only pay S$1.50 per entry..

There are so many things to play, like

Lit Ball Pool - Kids can dive into a pool of thousand transparent balls with lighting effect on the floor

Mega Play - A three-level challenging obstacle play system where children need to crawl and climb to get past each level before proceeding to the next.

The Cliff - A 3m rock-climbing wall for children aged five and up. A great way for children to boost self-confidence while improving agility, balance and hand-eye coordination.

Forest -Where you can play catching)

Toddler Play AREA...

There are other play station where u have to pay a small sum to play, like .Adventure Highlands, Ball‘O’City & The Rink......

And for adults there is

The Cocoon - An entertainment space where adults can watch movies of their choice. A DVD movie vending machine is frequently re-stocked within The Cocoon to offer a variety of blockbuster hits. Visitors can also rent and bring the DVD movies for home viewing

The Mound - The Mound is a designated health and wellness corner for adults. The space is equipped with 20 sets of exercise and health check equipments from OSIM. Parents and guardians can now keep fit or enjoy a foot massage while waiting for their young charges who are also having fun exercising in the rest of the Family Park.
